Responsibilities

• Operate sanding tools and grinders safely and efficiently.
• Remove rust and weld spatter from metal parts.
• Apply primers or sealers as specified.
• Collaborate with painters, buffers, assemblers, and QC to ensure appearance and quality.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.
• Assist with moving and staging metal components in production.
• Document progress and communicate with supervisors and leads.
• Support continuous improvement in surface preparation processes.
