Essity North America Inc. in Dover, DE seeks a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift in the Forming Dept. The role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment on-site, with safety and compliance at the forefront.

You will read blueprints, perform preventive maintenance, document work orders, calibrate equipment, and contribute to a safe, efficient plant operation. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to lift and stand for long periods are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with mechanical education.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical settings.
• Willingness to stay updated through training.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management.
• Ability to lift and frequently stand, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment on-site.
• Inspect machinery to ensure safe operation.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and manuals.
• Document maintenance work with detailed reports.
• Set up and calibrate new equipment per guidelines.
• Implement preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Use specialized tools for adjustments.
• Ensure safety per Essity standards.
• Commit to I Care safety journey.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
