Paycom - ATS is seeking a Material Kitting Associate to help manage component needs for the assembly line and prepare finished goods for production. The role requires a self-starter attitude, minimal supervision, and the ability to handle standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities include verifying shipments, inspecting materials, addressing damages, and staging goods for stocking while coordinating with the manufacturing team to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Blueprint reading preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of forklift operation.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming shipments against Bills of Lading, Invoices, Packing Lists or other records.
• Unpack and inspect materials for the production line.
• Reject damaged items and document shortages where applicable.
• Move materials using tugger/forklift to staging areas as needed.
• Stage goods for stocking and assist with paperwork involved in order receipts.
• Support production lead to maintain manufacturing plant needs.

The starting hourly wage is $20.00. You will receive an additional $3.00 per hour making your hourly wage $23.00/ $47,840 annually.Overview:The Material Kitting Associate is responsible for assisting with maintaining component needs for the assembly line. Looking for someone that is a self-starter and can work with minimal supervision. This position will be responsible for getting the finished product ready for assembly for the production line.Principle Accountabilities:Compare identifying information and counts, weights or measures of items from incoming shipments to verify information against Bills of Lading, Invoices, Packing Lists or other recordsUnpacks and examines materials for the production lineRejects damaged items and records shortages where applicableMeet established requirements and maintains oversight and quality of existing components for all product assembling.Addresses damages or shortages to the Manager for proper routingMay operate material tugger to move, convey or hoist shipments from one staging area to another locationMay receive damaged or defective goods returned to establishmentProactively identify opportunities for process improvement as well as complete root cause analysis in response to issues with quality or production.Stage goods for stockingHandling paperwork involved in order receiptsFulfill general production requirements through direction of production lead by maintaining various needs in the manufacturing plant.Perform other related duties as requiredEducation/Experience:High school diploma or G.E.DBasic Understanding of blueprints reading is preferredExperience in a fast paced manufacturing environmentKnowledge of operating forklift truckComputer experience preferredCompetencies:Required to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel and lift cumbersome and/or heavy objectsHighly motivated & energetic with a strong work ethicAbility to handle and lift 50 pounds maximum; bending and stretchingAbility to prioritize work load and meet multiple deadlines
