Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN is hiring a Materials Handler / Forklift Operator for a leading manufacturing facility in Montgomery County on the 3rd shift, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday–Friday. The role supports production and warehouse operations with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Previous forklift experience is preferred, but training will be provided. Opportunities exist to become certified on sit-down electric forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet trucks, enhancing career growth within a team-focused

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory control experience preferred.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience highly desired, but training will be provided.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Federal Hazardous Waste procedures and local regulations.
• Comply with DOT handling and shipping requirements for hazardous materials.
• Become certified on sit-down electric forklifts, electric reach trucks, and electric pallet trucks.
• Assist with physical inventory counts.
• Receive, store, and put away raw materials and finished goods.
• Utilize scanning equipment integrated with inventory management systems.
• Label raw materials and finished goods accurately.
• Perform shrink-wrapping, banding, and staging of finished goods.
• Supply raw materials to Production and Batching teams as needed.
• Train and support new team members.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.

Material Handler / Forklift Operator Job Description:

Looking for a rewarding warehouse position with excellent pay and room to grow? PeopleShare is hiring a Material Handler / Forklift Operator for a leading manufacturing facility on 3rd shift. Previous forklift experience is preferred, but candidates with warehouse experience and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply, as training will be provided.

This position is responsible for all material control functions including shipping, receiving, maintaining rack storage locations, labeling, wrapping, and packing finished goods and incoming raw materials. The Material Handler will work closely with Production and Batching teams to ensure the production line and batching tower remain supplied with the materials needed to support ongoing operations.

Material Handler / Forklift Operator Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Experience with automated inventory control and scanning systems preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
