Job summary

Copperweld is hiring for a Material Handler on the 3rd shift (11:00p–7:00a). Responsibilities include moving materials, supporting production, and maintaining a safe, organized warehouse. Forklift operation and the ability to obtain a forklift license are required.

Strong teamwork and basic Plex system skills are essential. Experience in manufacturing and adherence to Copperweld's core values are preferred.

Qualifications

• Adherence to Copperweld Core Values.
• Basic computer skills in company systems (PLEX) and email.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to operate multiple machine operations.
• Shift flexibility to include continuous operations.
• Team player and self-starter.
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to achieve proficiency with Plex: manufacturing, quality.
• Ability to operate stand-up/sit-down forklift safely.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and safety procedures.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and storage procedures.
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Will be required to obtain fork truck license.
• Adhere to Copperweld's safety and environmental standards.
