Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is recruiting for a 3rd Shift Materials Handler located in Carlisle. The role involves handling materials, maintaining inventory, and preparing stock for shipment on a 6:00pm–6:00am schedule.

Requirements include a current forklift certification with at least 1 year of experience, 1+ year in a steel or construction environment, and a high school diploma or GED. The job may require outdoor work in all weather conditions and extended standing/walking.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift Certification – min of 1 year experience required.
• 1+ year of experience in a steel or construction environment.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Previous inventory management experience.
• Ability to stand and walk for an 8-10 hour shift.
• Position could involve working outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme heat or cold.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
• Maintains in-process inventory.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Participates in ordering or purchasing standard stock items, such as recommending additions or deletions to standard stock items or ordering replenishments within established procedures and limits.
