Pineville Distribution Street, Pineville, NC 28134

Position:

Material Handler - Forklift

Pay:

$21.40/hour plus $0.50 shift differential

Shift:

3rd (10:15 pm - 6:15 am, Mon-Fri)

Responsibilities:

1. Receive, store, pick, and distribute materials and products.
2. Read schedules and orders to determine items to move or gather.
3. Transport materials within the warehouse.
4. Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins.
5. Fill requisitions and assemble customer orders.
6. Mark materials with identifying information.
7. Open containers and record received or distributed items.
8. Operate manual and automated handling equipment safely.
9. Practice safety and hygiene guidelines.
10. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
11. Follow safety procedures for lifting and equipment use.
12. Report injuries and defective equipment.
13. Use computers for record-keeping.
14. May climb tanks or trailers and perform cycle counts.
15. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
16. Support other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• Experience with Oracle or similar WMS preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, driving, and using hands; occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling; continuous talking and hearing; lifting up to 100 lbs frequently.

Work Environment:

Moderate noise level; ambient temperature affected by seasons.

Benefits:
