Job summary

Southern Specialties in Tulsa, OK seeks a Material Handler for the 3rd shift to move materials through production, support inventory accuracy, and meet customer commitments. This role emphasizes hands-on work, reliability, and safety in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires labeling, storing, staging materials, and using handheld scanners with ERP/WMS systems, while lifting up to 50 pounds. Friday–Sunday schedule includes an 11.5% shift premium on base hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory control — ideally in manufacturing or fabrication
• Hands-on experience with inventory systems, cycle counting, and hand-held scanners
• Strong attention to detail and a natural sense of organization
• Ability to lift and move materials safely
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP or WMS system
• Ability to stay focused, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• A strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Commitment to safety, accuracy, and quality
• A team-first mindset and willingness to jump in where needed
