Job summary

Clean Harbors in Jeffersonville, OH is seeking a 3rd shift Warehouse Worker (Material Handler) responsible for unloading and loading waste materials, stocking the warehouse, and ensuring safe, compliant operations during 6pm-6am shifts.

This position requires a background check, drug test, and physical, with a Pitman 12-hour schedule coming soon, and a focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and teamwork in a hazardous environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Requires attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Unload containerized waste from route trucks.
• Reload route trucks with supplies and equipment for next day’s runs.
• Ensure waste and containers are in shipping condition and organized for transport to recycle or distribution centers.
• Stock the warehouse with received materials.
• Prepare waste loads for shipment.
• Housekeeping in the branch (trash, painting, sweeping, cleaning).
• Perform minor repairs on parts washers.
• Observe third party bulk liquid transfers.
• Assist with inventory count.
• Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules.
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements.
• Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures.
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
