Job summary

CTDI is seeking a Material Handler for a 3rd shift role in a US warehouse. The job involves packaging, receiving, storing, and shipping materials, with a focus on accuracy and safety. Pay starts at $16.94/hour plus a 10% shift differential, reaching $18.63/hour.

Responsibilities include labeling, documentation, and meeting daily production goals. High school diploma or equivalent is required, with opportunities for growth within a family-oriented company.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow safety regulations.
• Complete required paperwork and digital records accurately and promptly.

3rd Shift: 9:30PM - 6:00AM, Sunday - Thursday
Pay Rate: $16.94/hour + 10% Shift Differential = $18.63/hour

Duties And Responsibilities

• Executes foundational tasks within a warehouse environment including but not limited to: packaging, unpackaging, put away, sorting, staging, picking, shipping and preparing units for production.
• Cut open boxed inventory in the storage area or on the rack.
• Place open boxes on the appropriate shelf of the flow rack.
• Walk the length of the flow rack.
• Wrap cords neatly and securely, ensuring they are tangle-free.
• Assist with labeling, tagging, or color-coding wrapped cords as needed for easy identification.
• Consistently meet or surpass daily production and quality goals.
• Complete required paperwork, forms, or digital records accurately and promptly for documentation purposes.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
• All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.

• Time-management skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Warehouse environment.
• Stand dynamically for long periods.
• Use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel; the ability to type, pick, pinch with fingers, seize, hold, grasp or turn with hands.
• Lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Push and/or pull up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Reach up and out with hands and arms
• Occasionally required to climb stairs or ladders.
