Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Shift Manager for the 3rd shift in its Printing Department. This role involves directing daily operations of the production team, ensuring safety and quality standards, and providing coaching to employees. The Shift Manager (3rd Shift) in the Printing Department will direct daily operations of the production team, lead various processes in corrugated container production, maintain safety, cost-effectiveness, and ensure product meets all customer and company standards.
Candidates must possess strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and the ability to drive change. They need effective communication skills to represent the needs of employees and management. Previous experience leading people in a box plant, printing operation, converting operation or paper mill is preferred. Must be able to improve working conditions (safety, quality, productivity, cost) through a continuous improvement mindset.
Education: Associates degree (or equivalent experience) in business, management, or supervision desired.
Experience: 1–3 years of demonstrated leadership experience and 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Computer Skills: Experience with MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Windows-based programs. Familiarity with business management programs (KIWI, SAP, etc.) is a plus.
Certificates & Licenses: Must be willing and able to be First Aid / CPR certified.
