Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a maintenance mechanic to work with the Maintenance Manager to complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and PMs in a timely fashion. You will follow GMP ISO9001 standards for plastics manufacturing and log labor/parts in the CMMS.

The role requires independent work, adherence to safety policies, and willingness to work overtime and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

2 years minimum experience as maintenance mechanic in metal manufacturing.
Knowledge of GMP ISO9001 standards for plastics manufacturing.
PLC experience preferred.
Experience with and ability to use welding, cutting, machine and hand tools.
Ability to operate CMMS and log labor/parts.

Responsibilities

Work with little to no supervision.
Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
Troubleshoot/repair machinery such as slitters, collectors, high speed welders, conveyors, and palletizers.
Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Repair gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
Building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep.
Repair and assess electrical issues as they arise.
Familiarize with CMMS and log labor/parts.
Willing to work overtime, weekends and off shifts.
Participate in on-call program and may work additional hours on off shift.
Audit PMs to keep in compliance and update TPM/LOTO procedures.
Audit and assist in assigning PMs and improving team efficiency.
