Job summary

ND Paper is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift in Sturtevant, WI. The role focuses on reducing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and supporting production throughput while ensuring safe, on-time maintenance performed right the first time.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLCs and drives, preventive maintenance, 5S maintenance, and detailed documentation. A minimum of a high school diploma and 3+ years box-plant experience are required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years box plant experience.
• Corrugator/Converting experience is a plus.
• Bilingual in Mandarin or Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety as a core value and lead safe work execution.
• Perform maintenance tasks safely and as per procedures.
• Follow safety policies and complete monthly safety training.
• Read and interpret equipment drawings and schematics.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, drives and control systems.
• Use CMMS to document maintenance activities and parts.
• Perform lubrication, cleaning and preventive tasks.
• Maintain buildings, HVAC and safety systems.
• Train teammates to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Move materials with forklifts and other equipment.
• Identify root causes and collaborate on timely fixes.
• Order and communicate parts and equipment needs.
• Ensure equipment runs at OEM speeds and uptime.
• Maintain 5S? and organized work area; ensure proper documentation.
