Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Prosperity, SC. You will perform mechanical, electrical and fabrication tasks to keep production equipment reliable, align and setup new gear, and program PLCs.

Daily duties include repair, preventive maintenance, and equipment testing. The role requires an associate degree in a technical field and 2–5 years of maintenance experience, with 3rd shift availability and SAP/Microsoft Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in relevant technical field.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Ability to work 3rd shift; Sunday–Thursday and weekends as needed.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance on motors, conveyors, and drives.
• Inspect drives, belts, fluids; replace filters.
• Install and wire electrical components and plumbing.
• Diagnose machine malfunctions and plan repairs.
• Document actions and communicate needs to team.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and adhere to SQF.
• Operate welding equipment and PLCs.
