Miller’s Textile Services is currently hiring for a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician to join our Wapakoneta, Ohio location. Hours are 6:30 pm to 5:00 am, Monday through Thursday. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for handling all aspects of maintenance related to production equipment as well as facility maintenance for their designated shift. What will you do?

  • Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment
  • Preventive maintenance and cleaning of production equipment
  • Ensure that maintenance checklists and logs are completed accurately and timely
  • Ensure that building and grounds are maintained
  • Assists outside contractors with equipment installs/repairs as necessary
  • Works with production team to improve production efficiencies
  • Other related duties as assigned to support the Maintenance and Production teams

What are the minimum qualifications?

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Technical school/trade school certification a plus
  • Related college degree a bonus
  • Must have ability to diagnose and troubleshoot production equipment
  • Must be able to climb, kneel, crouch, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers in order to work on equipment
  • Must have working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
  • Welding experience
  • Must have good communication and people skills
  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Must be able to pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening
