Job summary

Aapstaff is seeking an entry level maintenance technician for our production environment. The technician will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment, reading manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.

The role is full-time and requires a high school diploma or GED along with 4+ years of manufacturing experience, including pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills; PLC and HMI experience is a plus.

Entry Level Maintenance Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

This position is for an entry level maintenance technician in a production environment. The maintenance technician is responsible for performing multiple duties to troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.

Essential Functions

• Perform basic mechanic tasks including but not limited to troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and pneumatic production machines.


• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.


• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.


• Comply with safety regulations.


• Maintain clean and orderly work area.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma/GED


• 4+ years of manufacturing experience; pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills.


• PLC and HMI experience a plus.
