Job summary

Precision Edge Surgical Products Company LLC, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks a maintenance technician for the 3rd shift (10pm-6am, Sunday-Thursday). The role involves electro-mechanical and robotic control system maintenance, preventive care, and equipment repairs across CNC lathes, grinders, and mills.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and 2+ years' experience with machine shop equipment, PLCs, and a strong background in electro-mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 2+ years experience operating and/or repairing machine shop equipment (CNC lathes, grinders, mills, etc.).
• Experience with PLCs, Fanuc and Mitsubishi Controllers.
• Strong electro mechanical, robotic controls background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains all plant equipment.
• Assists in prioritizing daily work schedules with the Facility Engineer and Operations team.
• Responds to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinates with plant personnel, minimizing downtime for repairs.
• Performs Facility Maintenance including upkeep of the facility and grounds.
• Researches and orders spare parts to expedite machine repair and control costs.
• Provides training and technical guidance to maintenance personnel as required.

3rd Shift 10pm-6am Sunday-Thursday Performs routine maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities electro/mechanical, robotic controls systems. Performs preventative maintenance, such as changing fluids, replacing filters, adjusting tension, clean intakes and cold-air returns, etc. May operate snow removal and/or grounds keeping equipment.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum
• Two or more years experience operating and/or repairing machine shop equipment (CNC lathes, Grinders, Mills, etc.)
• Experience with PLC’s, Fanuc and Mitsubishi Controllers
• Strong electro mechanical, robotic controls background preferred

Essential Functions, Knowledge and Competencies

• Ability to lift 125 pounds with assistance
• Exceptional ability to solve problems and apply problem solving logic in an efficient manner
• Must have a strong sense of urgency and ability to quickly evaluate problems and generate solutions
• Ability to deal with stressful situations in a calm and controlled manner
• Must be able to take direction and have the ability to effectively work with people
• Must be available for all shifts and be on call as required
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time (8-10 hours or more), frequent bending and twisting
