Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift in Pierceton, IN. The role performs preventive and general maintenance on equipment and facilities, handling motor/engine work, CNC, electrical, pneumatic and PLC tasks while ensuring safety and adherence to policies.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities, and solid computer literacy to support maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision, installs, repairs, and maintains equipment and facilities.
• Includes motor and engine, CNC, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC.
• Assure all policies and safety precautions are followed.
• Responsible for facility and ground maintenance.
• Expected to be on call and may require travel.
• Occasional use of personal vehicle for parts pickup/delivery.
• Other duties as assigned; may train others after demonstrated competency.
