Job summary

MBC Companies, a manufacturer and distributor of frozen food products located in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, seeks a Maintenance Mechanics on 3rd shift. You will perform general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment under the Maintenance Supervisor.

On-call duties on weekends and proactive preventive maintenance are key aspects of the role. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and can lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Repair building and processing equipment.
• Perform weekend on-call responsibilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Setup equipment for start of shift.
• Maintain documentation of parts used and supplies to order.
• Communicate daily workload to the maintenance supervisor.
• Perform special projects as required.
• Follow safe work practices and report safety issues.
• Provide own basic tools to perform job requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

MBC Companies, a manufacturer and distributor of frozen food products located in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanics on 3rd shift. Experience in the food industry a plus. Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repairs building and processing equipment
• Performs weekend on-call responsibilities
• Performs critical and routine preventative maintenance
• Performs morning set up of equipment so production can have a safe and proper start at the assigned start time
• Prepares and maintains documentation of parts used and supplies that need to be ordered
• Communicates daily workload to the maintenance supervisor
• Performs special projects as required
• Follows safe work practices and ensures safety of co-associates
• Reports any significant problems or issues to supervisor
• Supplies own basic tools to perform job requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
