Job summary

Natures Bakery in Carson City, NV is seeking a maintenance technician for the 3rd shift (8pm-4:30am, Mon-Fri with OT as needed). The role supports safe, timely maintenance and repair work, trains teammates, and logs training and materials for inventory using a CMMS.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical equipment, coordinating with the maintenance manager, applying Lean practices, and ensuring adherence to GMP/HSE programs and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with CMMS and preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong focus on safety and GMP/HSE practices.

Pay:

$41.00hr, Shift differential is applied for qualifying shifts of $1.50hr

Summary

Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed safely, effectively, and in a timely manner. Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments. Inspects work performed by team members. Trains team member on proper troubleshooting and repair techniques. Tracks and logs workers training time, materials, and other resources used for inventory purposes.

Essential Functions

• Communicates effectively and respectfully with all Natures Bakery employees and contractors, maintaining professional working relationships.
• Complies with all Company and Plant policies and procedures including conformance to the facilities’ Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and Health Safety Environmental (HSE) programs.
• Ensures all OSHA guidelines are followed and reports any unsafe conditions to leadership immediately.
• Validates the use of the Plants’ lockout tagout procedures, job rotation program, etc. as needed.
• Develops and completes revisions of work procedures in partnership with the maintenance manager.
• Trains maintenance team members on procedures and equipment verifying that PM’s and best practices are being performed.
• Maintains the entire work area in a neat, safe, and orderly fashion using Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Evaluates equipment or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
• Troubleshoots and repairs electrical equipment as needed.
• Works with maintenance manager/ planner to plan and prioritize work, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks.
• Assesses building systems to plan work assignments.
• Collaborates with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments; delegates assignments.

• Utilize the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to order parts, complete work orders, and assist with work planning effectively.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
