Job summary

Batesville, a recognized leader in the death care industry in North America, seeks a Maintenance Group Leader for the Manchester, TN plant. You will plan, direct, and coordinate maintenance of equipment and facilities, driving reliability and efficiency across operations.

The role supervises the maintenance team on 2nd and 3rd shifts, coordinating with quality, production, and engineering to schedule inspections and overhauls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Maintenance and five years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Strong MS Office skills and familiarity with maintenance management systems.
• Management/supervision experience with scheduling, safety, project completion, and lost cycles.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and manage maintenance team on 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Plan resource allocation, materials, PPE, and work permits.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and major overhauls with engineering and quality.
• Review reports and analyze downtime to improve efficiency and quality.
• Directly supervise maintenance personnel and address performance and discipline.
