Qualifications

• At least 1 year as a machine operator or quality inspector.
• Experience using measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Ability to read product specifications and translate to machine settings.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test, and adjust machines according to product specifications using gauges and hand tools.
• Start machines, monitor operations, and record operational data.
• Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, or rulers.
• Examine finished parts for defects and sort defective pieces by flaw type.
• Maintain, clean, and lubricate machines; perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Follow OSHA and company safety rules; report safety violations or near misses.
• Promote teamwork and effective communication within and across departments.
• Train and cross-train associates; support a continuous improvement culture.
