Job summary

Arthrex Manufacturing in Ave Maria, FL is seeking an Associate Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (Sun-Thu, 10:00pm–6:30am) to produce high-quality parts following machining processes and procedures. You will attend Fundamentals Class and work 8:00am–4:30pm on select weeks as scheduled.

Responsibilities include operating I&R machines, verifying orders, loading materials, performing line clearance, measuring parts, and documenting data in SAP.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude. Ability to use measuring tools. Must pass blueprint reading class.

Responsibilities

• Follow the written process and operate a variety of I&R machines and special processes under direct supervision.
• Receive work order and verify components are correct.
• Receive material and load machine or step feeder.
• Perform and record line clearance.
• Verify the machine is running the correct program.
• Measure parts for conformance to blueprint specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Interact in a Manufacturing environment with a variety of personnel and shift changeover daily.
• Confirm that the inspection process is kept at AQLs C=0.
• Example: check parts every 30 minutes.
• Maintain good quality and production output.
• Sort/rework parts as required.
• Assist with other operations as required.
• Data entry in the SAP system.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow safety procedures.
• Report safety or maintenance concerns to management; suggest process improvements.
