Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Production Operator for a 3rd shift to run insertion and printing equipment responsible for processing customer statements and communications. This role operates in a high-volume, security-conscious environment and requires a production mindset aligned with 5S and Lean principles.

You will be on your feet for long periods, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and collaborate with a team to ensure accurate, timely mailings while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating high speed printing or mailing equipment is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Understanding of 5S Lean principles and ability to apply them in a production setting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing customer communications.
• Effective communication with team members and supervisors in a production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing production needs.

Responsibilities

• Operates insertion and printing equipment at a basic proficiency level while meeting production and quality standards under supervision
• Oversees machine setup and inspects parts with precision prior to production initiating
• Stands for long periods and is able to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds as required
• Executes routine quality inspections of printed and inserted material for accuracy and integrity
• Completes paperwork and day-to-day tasks in compliance with all policies, procedures, safety regulations, and 5S principles
• Communicates with department peers, supervisors, vendor representatives, and other departments to work effectively in a team environment
• Cross-trains on multiple pieces of equipment and in reconcilement functions as required
• Ability to accurately complete machine log, load jobs, and understand internal workflows
• Must demonstrate basic awareness of customer privacy policy
• Demonstrates strong work ethic, punctuality, attendance, and scheduling flexibility
