Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a dedicated production operator for 3rd shift positions in Statesville, NC. Candidates should possess manufacturing experience and be able to troubleshoot issues with automated machinery. Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume production (over 1000 pcs/shift).
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 35 lbs alone, 50 lbs with assistance.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment without central HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machine issues as they arise.
• Perform basic adjustments and repairs using hand tools.
• Work actively around machinery throughout shifts.

Job description

3rd shift WILL TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT FOR FIRST FEW WEEKS!

11:00 pm - 7:30 am SUNDAY-THURSDAY

Pay Rate: $17

• Experience with manufacturing operations with automated machinery.
• Comes from a background of high-volume production (> 1000 pcs/shift)
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve machine issues as they occur.
• A working knowledge of hand tools to do basic adjustments and repairs.
• Familiarity with what sensors do and how hydraulics and Pneumatics (air) are used on machines.
• Thorough understanding of lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Can operate a computer at a basic level.
• Able to read instructions and procedures and fill out forms and paperwork.
• Forklift Experience is preferred.
• Ability to move around actively inside and around the machine throughout the shift.
• Coming from a background of working with teammates on the same machine is a huge bonus.
• Able to lift and move material up to 35lbs alone and 50lbs with help
• Comfortable to work in a warehouse environment with no central Heating/Cooling.
