Position Summary

Leads are the first ownership of their floor area, first line of defense; if need more direction, reach out to supervisor. As the Break Reliever & Cross‑Trained Equipment Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the supervisor and ensuring the smooth operation of our SHipping and Receiving Docks. This position requires someone who takes initiative, has a sense of urgency, is solution‑oriented and possesses excellent communication skills. This role will report directly to our Logistics Manager

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines.
• Familiarity with modern warehouse practices and methods including operating scanners or handheld devices used to move and track items.
• Prepare and complete orders for shipping according to the schedule.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Computer‑based order picking in cooler or freezer environment.
• Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and shipped.
• Check in and sign out drivers in log.
• Inventory cycle‑counting
• Check in raw materials, packaging supplies, and other deliveries according to procedures.
• Label all incoming materials according to procedures.
• Stock production lines with needed materials.
• Keep warehouse areas interior and exterior clean and organized. Daily cleaning will be required.
• Flexibility to work off‑shifts, including days or nights, weekends, or holidays.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure compliance with quality policies and procedures, including product hold and traceability.
• Report any discrepancies with product or code dates.
• Follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet SQF, regulatory, company, and customer requirements.

Health & Safety

• Follow company safety policies and practices fostering a safe workplace and environment for ourselves and our co‑workers.
• Makes SAFETY a priority, while carrying out his /her daily activities.
