Koch Foods, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Live Haul Manager on 3rd shift in Weaver, AL. You will support daily operations, train staff, and supervise live haul drivers to uphold safety and animal welfare policies. A CDL or ability to obtain one within a year is required.

The role emphasizes compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and driving-hours monitoring while contributing to ongoing PM program oversight. Family-oriented benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor Degree in Animal or Poultry Science or related area preferred.
• Excellent technology, computer, math and analytical skills.
• 3+ years supervisory experience required.
• Current CDL, or ability to obtain license within 1 year required.

Responsabilités

• Assist Live Haul Manager in day-to-day management of operations.
• Train employees, ensuring Animal Welfare Policies are enforced.
• Assist in supervising live haul drivers, ensuring safe driving practices.
• Ensure team members and drivers adhere to company safety policies and practices.
• Monitor PM Program.
• Assist in training drivers, monitoring driver hours, and ensuring DOT compliance.
• Monitor and administer Drive-Cam System.
• Respond to farm catching and hauling issues and accidents.
• Other relevant duties as assigned.
