Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking a skilled Line Mechanic for the Council Bluffs facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting, line repairs, parts replacement, and performing PMs to ensure efficient production. The candidate must have a solid mechanical background and be able to operate a variety of hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Read, write and comprehend written instructions in English.
• Experience with Planned Maintenance and maintenance work cycles.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, piping, and power transmission.
• Basic knowledge of welding, machining, and electrical.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair line equipment to keep production running.
• Perform teardowns and setups of equipment and complete startup checklists.
• Complete PMs and corrective maintenance work orders.
• Read and complete work/purchase requests; maintain safety and GMP standards.
