Job description

PURPOSE OF JOB:

To service the Tufting Department by supplying yarn, rolls, backing, and other supplies as needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Drive pole, forklift, and squeeze hysters to perform required duties.
• Supply the tufting department with yarn, rolls, backing, and other necessary items.
• Maintain waste records.
• Create shipping tickets.
• Service hyster by recharging batteries and performing maintenance as needed.
• Obtain a Lift Truck Operator's License through a company-sponsored training program.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the supervisor or Warehouse Lead.

NEEDED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Good eyesight, hearing, and motor skills.
• Previous experience operating a lift truck.
• Ability to read tickets.
• Ability to create tickets for roll goods.
• Ability to operate the wrap station.
• Ability to input data into terminals.
• Knowledge of WCM philosophies.
