Job summary

Genesis Manufacturing & Distribution is seeking a 3rd Shift Lead to oversee production operations on the overnight shift. You will inspect production lines, communicate tasks to staff, ensure inventory sufficiency, and cover machines as needed.

You will report to the Shift Supervisor and help maintain a productive, team-focused environment. Ideal candidates bring experience with injection molding, a high school diploma, strong organizational skills, and the ability to train others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Injection molding experience strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Teamwork and self-motivation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QA checks and ensure procedures are met.
• Communicate for continuous improvement and problem solving.
• Perform cleaning and general maintenance tasks.
• Cover injection molding machines during breaks.
• Control materials: cycle counting, lot tracking, inventory.
• Manage floor inventory under supervisor direction.
• Train new or newly assigned employees on duties.
• Enforce machine assignments as directed.
