Job summary

EK is seeking a Laser Cutter Operator in Wisconsin. Qualifications

• Certificate from college or technical school required.
• 1–3 years related experience or training expected.
• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret simple instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Determine gas type, nozzle size, and lens focus based on material and thickness.
• Set up, adjust, and operate a computer controlled laser cutting machine.
• Make adjustments as needed to optimize cuts.
• Create inspection sheets and document inspection data.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment.
• Perform daily and weekly maintenance on laser cutting equipment.
• Program using priority dispatch workflow.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
