Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an on-site Janitorial Operations Supervisor in Duncan, SC to lead the 3rd shift and coordinate with first and second shifts as needed. You will oversee daily janitorial operations, manage the workforce, ensure contract compliance, safety, and high service quality.

As primary client contact, you will build strong relationships, supervise staff, perform site inspections, control costs, and support contract renewals and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• GMP / clean room experience strongly preferred
• 3+ years of experience in janitorial, facility services, or building maintenance management
• Strong customer service and relationship-management skills
• Proficiency with scheduling, reporting, and basic computer applications

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for assigned account
• Oversee daily janitorial operations, ensuring all services are delivered according to contract specifications
• Supervise, train, and support janitorial staff, including scheduling, performance management, and coaching
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards, safety requirements, and compliance are met
• Address client inquiries, service requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Coordinate staffing needs, including hiring, onboarding, and coverage for call-outs or absences
• Monitor labor hours, equipment usage, and supply inventory to manage costs and support budget goals
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and local/state regulations
• Prepare reports, document service levels, and communicate updates to management as needed
• Support contract renewals, service enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives
