Job summary

ABM Industries in Brunswick, GA is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations and maintain high hygiene standards at a client site. You will supervise staff, coordinate schedules, enforce safety and sanitation regulations, and liaise with account managers to ensure staffing needs are met.

The role requires strong communication and leadership with a track record in janitorial teams. Shift: M-F, 8am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Two years of janitorial supervisor experience required/ preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage large teams and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Assist with the training of the cleaning team.
• Manage security of keys and access cards for the property.
• Report work orders for maintenance.
• Oversees quality of jobs and confirms completion with Manager; check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Complete order forms completely and accurately.
• Coordinate equipment usage and inventories.
• Manage daily employee lunches and breaks.
• Maintain daily shift report for managers.
• Perform basic administrative, payroll and Attendance functions (as required).
• Maintain communication with Account Managers to monitor and maintain optimum staffing levels.
• Provide technical guidance, interpret policies and procedures, and assist front-line employees in performing functional tasks.
• Ensure that shift schedules are complete (days off, vacations, etc.) a week in advance.
• Work with leadership to ensure all callouts are covered.
• Accommodate increased / decreased client staffing requests.
• Manage the No-Fault Attendance Policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
