Purpose
Performs daily routine inventory cycle counting tasks and recommends changes on inventory counts to the warehouse supervisor. Processes any necessary and approved changes.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counting tasks and recommend needed changes.
- Process inventory changes or product re-slotting as instructed by the warehouse supervisor.
- Update inventory changes within Triceps.
- Support system training for shift employees responsible for inventory movement.
- Work closely with the supervisor to facilitate timely and efficient inventory movement.
- Provide daily operational inventory system reports from Triceps Inventory Management Systems.
- Process random weight and/or produce orders as required for inventory counts and shipping practices.
About You
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- One year experience in warehouse inventory control systems or related field.
- Certification in operation of power equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a multitask environment.
- Positive work history including safety and attendance.
- Able to handle a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and analytically driven.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to bend, twist, kneel, squat, reach, pull, push, balance, and lift objects up to 85 pounds in a fast-paced environment for extended periods.
- Transport objects weighing 20-85 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Stand, walk, and move about for extended periods.
- Operate industrial equipment while standing and balancing.
- Push, pull, grasp, twist, and use sawing motions for extended periods.
- Pass physical capacity test at 100%.
- Work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures, including freezers, coolers, and refrigerators as low as -15°F.
