Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in flexographic printing ink is preferred.
  • Experience in ink color matching and press side troubleshooting is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture ink batches and assist on press side.
  • Maintain customer ink inventory and file usage reports.

Position Title: 3rd shift In-Plant Ink Technician

Pay Rate: $24.43 / hr.

Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time – 3rd shift

Week 1 - 6 pm – 6 am – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Week 2 – 6 pm – 6 am - Wednesday & Thursday

Week 3 – 6 pm – 6 am – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Week 4 - 6 pm – 6 am - Wednesday & Thursday

Physical Location: Tucker Preprint, 5099 N. Royal Atlanta Drive, Tucker, GA 30084

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Color matches and rematches
  • Manufacture ink batches for print jobs
  • Press side technical assistance
  • Maintain customer ink inventory
  • File ink usage reports
  • Attend production meetings
  • Ink training, ink improvements and cost reductions

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • High School diploma or equivalency required
  • 2+ years flexographic printing ink experience preferred
  • Ink color matching experience
  • Press side troubleshooting experience
  • Pre-printed liner application experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Good math skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
