Job summary

Atlas Molded Products in Byron Center, MI is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to maintain and repair equipment at the Byron Center facility. The role includes troubleshooting machinery, rebuilding components, assisting with repairs to buildings and grounds, and performing preventative maintenance on all machinery.

Ideal candidates will have experience in a manufacturing environment and a GED may be preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic math, counting, and using common hand-held measuring tools.
• General understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all new and existing equipment or machinery is operating properly.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to identify root cause.
• Rebuild and reseal components as needed to ensure functionality.
• Assist in any repairs that may be needed to the buildings or grounds.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all machinery.
• Assist with manufacturing and installation of new equipment as needed.
• Properly document maintenance performed so that accurate records can be kept.
