Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and tidiness across the plant area. This full-time role reports to the Chief Engineer and requires adherence to safety, COSHH, and infection control guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Keep all areas of plant, including toilets, clean and tidy.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are safe and well maintained.
• Report all equipment repairs and issues to Chief Engineer.
• Notify Chief Engineer when replacement materials or equipment are needed.
• Wear protective clothing per COSHH, health and hygiene, and infection control rules.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Assist and perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION TITLE: Housekeeper

POSITION TYPE: Full-Time

REPORTS TO: Chief Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of plant.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Keep all areas of plant, including all toilets, clean and tidy. This includes washing, dusting, polishing, vacuum cleaning, and sweeping as appropriate.
• Ensuring that all cleaning equipment and materials are maintained in a safe, clean, and efficient working condition.
• Report all equipment repairs and issues to Chief Engineer
• Ensure that the Chief Engineer is aware of the need for replacement materials and equipment for the satisfactory performance of the duties.
• Wear protective clothing in accordance with COSHH and Health and Hygiene regulations and Infection Control guidelines.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines.
• Understand, observe and adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
• Assist and perform other duties as assigned.
