Job summary

Virtua Health in Voorhees, NJ is seeking a part-time Environmental Services/Facilities Aide for the 3rd shift. You will maintain safe, sanitary spaces for visitors, patients and staff while supporting daily cleaning, waste disposal and linen tasks.

The role requires basic English, customer service experience preferred, and the ability to work at least some hours per week. Hourly rate ranges from $18.00 to $21.33, with benefits available for eligible colleagues.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to speak English required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and sanitary environment for visitors, patients and employees.
• Cleans and maintains Virtua facilities as directed, including cleaning, removing trash, linen distribution, and room setup.
• Maintains universal precautions to ensure patient and employee safety.
• Safely handles and disposes of regulated medical waste, and other trash.
• Responsible for proper chemical usage and maintaining a safe environment, including storage of chemicals.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May assume linen responsibilities as required.
• May be required to work in other facilities as assigned.
