Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking a Hematology night shift technologist to join the hematology department. The role includes performing and reviewing CBC with differential, urinalysis, blood bank, coagulation, RPR, and HbA1c testing as part of a high-quality laboratory team.

You will operate general lab equipment, adhere to safety and privacy standards, and contribute to patient care with accurate results. The position is third shift with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Biological, or Physical Science with 1 year of Medical Technology training
• Strong reading and writing skills
• Experience with high-complexity testing is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform high- and moderate-complexity laboratory testing
• Analyze, review, and report testing results
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement solutions
• Work in a fast-paced lab with biological and chemical hazards
