Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience with press set-up and operation in manufacturing.
• Basic math skills to analyze information and measuring equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineer drawings, or customer drawings.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Set up presses and install dies using gauges and hand tools.
• Align dies in presses according to specifications.
• Operate presses and perform hot or cold form operations as required.
• Account for steel usage and record piecework formed.
• Inspect finished parts and communicate issues to supervisor.
• Maintain safety procedures and keep the work cell organized (5S).
