Position Title: 3rd Shift- General Production Worker

Position Summary:

The General Production Worker position is primarily responsible for sorting and separating the onion rings as they come out of the auger following the standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Separate and sort raw onion rings to specification.
• Follow the separator Job Safety Analysis and all other safety policies and procedures.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and all quality policies and procedures.
• Pick carbon from finished product.
• Understands and follows established sanitation and safety rules and procedures.

Qualifications:

2 + years production or general manufacturing experience.

Ability to comprehend and communicate in Basic English and interact with all levels of the organization.

Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift and lift up to 60 pounds for sanitation.

Physical Demand:

Constant:use and movement of hands, forward head/neck flexion, and standing on regularly scheduled shift.

Frequently:Grasping of hands, pushing with thumbs and fingers, and reaching for 8 hours daily.

Occasionally:Walking, bending at the waist, squatting, kneeling, and twisting at the neck and waist.

Criteria: Employees with a final written warning on file for a work-rule violation in the rolling calendar year will not be eligible to bid for these openings.

Selection Process: The selection process will be based on seniority as well job knowledge and skills, candidates will be interviewed.
