Job summary

Welch Packaging in Wooster, OH is hiring a production associate for Sunday–Thursday, 11pm–7am with a $2.00 shift differential. This role operates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and requires adherence to safety and quality procedures.

You will help build, package, and box products, follow standardized processes, and strive for 100% accuracy and on-time delivery. Team collaboration, strong communication, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and processes.
• Ensure product is built to spec and 100% accurate.
• Maintain high productivity for on-time delivery to customers.
• Maintain plant housekeeping standards.
• Work as a team with all facility members.
• Assemble, stack, wrap, staple, glue, sticker, and tape boxes as needed.

Summary

Work in a production environment following all safety procedures, quality processes and hitting our targeted build rates.

Essential Functions

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes
• Responsible for ensuring the product being built is built to spec and 100% accurate
• Responsible for maintaining the highest level of productivity to ensure 100% on time delivery to our customers.
• Responsible for maintaining the housekeeping standards of the plant
• Responsible for working as a team with all team members of the facility.
• Day to day responsibilities may include some or all of the following assembling, stacking, wrapping, stapling, gluing, stickering, and taping boxes.

Requirements/Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• 1+ years in a manufacturing/production environment
• Ability to work safely adhering to all safety processes and policies.
