Job summary

Mom’s Meals is seeking a night-shift warehouse associate in Las Vegas to handle packing, palletizing, and shipping orders. You will load pallets, operate pallet jack or forklift, and ensure orders are shipped via UPS or FedEx accurately and on time.

The role requires following written and verbal instructions and operating within safety and sanitation guidelines. Compensation is $19.50/hour with a shift differential included, and pre-employment drug screen and background checks are required where

• Understand and follow company standards to prepare and load orders for shipment.
• Load finished pallets into storage using pallet jack or forklift.
• Ship orders via UPS or FedEx and restack as needed.
• Load trucks with correct orders for shipment using pallet jack or forklift.
• Identify order exceptions and notify supervisor.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain food sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with team and management; assist with housekeeping.

Job description

This role is responsible for handling orders from packing to loading on truck to accurately ship orders on a timely basis through the Company’s shipping systems using UPS and Fed-Ex. Safely and accurately loads finished pallets into storage or onto trucks using pallet jack or forklift. Carefully listens and responds to written both written and verbal instructions and orders and works with other employees in a positive and efficient manner.

The hours would be Sunday night through Thursday night, 10pm to 6am, at $19.50/hr.

Please note, this pay rate includes the shift differential.

Offer of employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check, where permitted by law.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

Understands and follows all company standards and requirements needed to correctly prepare and load orders for shipment

Accurately loads finished pallets into storage using pallet jack or forklift

Accurately ships orders through UPS or Fed Ex systems and then restacks orders as needed

Loads trucks with correct orders for shipment using pallet jack or forklift

Identifies order exceptions, damaged product and similar items and promptly notifies supervisor of these

Uses all required safety equipment and consistently follows all related food sanitation and operating safety guidelines

Works effectively with other employees and Company management

Takes initiative to see and assist with general housekeeping

Required Skills and Experience

High School diploma or GED

Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions

Must also have some previous related work or on-the-job experience for this position

Must have basic computer skills and have an adequate working knowledge of product shipping and material handling practices, protocol, and procedures

Preferred Skills and Experience

Six months of related work experience

Physical Requirements

Regularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and arms

Frequently required to stand, communicate, and listen.

Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch.

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Able to perform repetitive movements

Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)
