Job summary

Perrigo is seeking a 3rd shift Material Handler / Hilo in Allegan, MI, offering $21.00 per hour. The role drives inbound/outbound distribution, operating forklifts and related equipment to ensure accurate, timely deliveries while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The position requires a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license or forklift experience, and the ability to work 40 hours with potential overtime. A comprehensive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license or minimum 1 year forklift/HILO driving experience.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week with overtime when necessary.
• Basic computer skills; simple math and reading comprehension.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, quality, and attention to detail.
• Must stand for the length of shift (about 85%).
• Vision/hearing able to meet driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize incoming product.
• Pick and prepare customer orders.
• Load trucks for outbound shipments.
• Operate Powered Industrial Equipment (forklifts, order pickers, dock trucks).
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 lbs and repetitive movement.
