Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 4:00pm until end of production

Pay: $20-22/hour (incentives included)

401K: 60% matching up to 10% of salary

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Pulls kegs from the cooler and loads kegs for delivery to J.J. Taylor accounts using the WMS system and scanners.

  • Puts keg stock in cooler, rotates stock (kegs) and checks for code dates.
  • Pulls, counts and verifies outgoing keg loads against loadsheets, ensures accuracy and quality of keg orders and reports to management on close-coded keg stock.
  • Loads trucks in accordance with drivers’ load sheets and unloads returnables from trucks as needed.
  • Systemically verifies loads are complete and closes them via the WMS system.
  • Cleans up cooler or consolidates keg stock.
  • Maintains a high level of productivity while consistently lifting heavy products.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly and safe keg work environment and is expected to report any potential safety risks (damaged racks or leaking cooling units).
  • Assists with keeping warehouse clean and orderly.
  • Supports “Special Events” by loading keg tenders and other specialty loads of kegs.
  • Adheres to all safety codes and OSHA standards.
  • Works overtime when required.

Additional Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Fills in for personnel on other shifts when required.
  • Assembles product for outside distributors and J.J. Taylor accounts.
  • Performs any additional duties and special tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, kneel and climb around warehouse when loading or unloading beer.
  • Must be able to push/pull/lift kegs on a regular basis which average 170 pounds and can weigh up to a maximum of 186 pounds; you must be physically capable of routinely performing lifting at those weight levels and transporting product into customer accounts.
  • Able to maneuver a two-wheel dolly effectively.
  • Able to operate a forklift.

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

  • Previous warehouse experience desired.
  • Must be able to obtain a forklift certification.

Working Conditions:

  • Warehouse environment.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures, machinery with moving parts, and dusty conditions.
  • Some exposure to noise, high places, electrical shock, fumes, and outside weather conditions, including wet and/or humid conditions.
