Job summary

Quad Hartford is seeking Forklift Operators to join our Hartford manufacturing team. You’ll work directly with production teams, moving paper, materials, and finished products throughout one of Quad's largest facilities and helping ensure our printing equipment stays on schedule.

This isn’t a traditional warehouse role. You'll operate forklifts on a night shift, receive a $3/hour night-shift premium, and benefit from a 12-hour compressed schedule (3/4 or 4/3) with 182 scheduled days per year and

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience strongly preferred.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, logistics, distribution, or material-handling experience.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other powered material-handling equipment.
• Supply printing and finishing equipment with paper and production materials.
• Transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory using RF scanners and computerized systems.

Forklift Operator

Location: Hartford, WI

Pay: $18.00–$20.00 / hour, based on relevant experience and work history

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 pm – 7:00 am

Shift Premium: Additional $3.00 / hour for night shift

Schedule: 12-hour compressed schedule (3/4 or 4/3 rotation). Work only 182 scheduled days per year while maintaining full-time status and benefits.

Experience Preferred: Previous forklift experience is strongly preferred. Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, shipping, logistics, distribution, or material handling is also valued.
