Pay: $18.60/hour + 3rd shift Cold Storage Premium $3.00/hour

Schedule: 3rd shift (Sun-Thurs 11:00pm-7:30am)

Position Overview: A Cold Storage Forklift Operator is responsible for receiving, rotating, and taking inventory of all products in the cooler. Operates forklifts, power pallet jacks, and scan gun systems to store products within the freezer. Ensures proper rotation, maintains cleanliness, and guarantees inventory accuracy and product freshness before delivery to the production floor.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely operate a forklift
• Work in a cold environment
• Perform physical tasks and maintain strength
• Use basic math and computer skills
• Follow safety procedures in cold storage
• Operate warehouse equipment
• Ensure attention to detail and teamwork
• Work in a team and adapt as needed
• Communicate effectively
• Unload trucks, inspect goods, verify temperatures
• Store goods properly, monitor storage conditions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Allergen, HACCP, GMP training
• 1+ year experience with pallet jacks & forklifts
• Experience in cold storage warehouse
• Experience with scan gun systems
• Ability to read and understand communication and labels

Skills for Certification:

• Guided Training (up to 40 hours)
• Forklift Operation & Certification
• Safety and Process Training

Work Environment: Warehouse environment.
