Job summary

Kent Quality Foods Inc is hiring for a 2nd shift Sanitation worker on site in Grand Rapids. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing equipment to ensure a safe start for the production team the next day, following strict GMP and safety standards. You may work weekends and overtime with a strong team-oriented environment.

The position offers a starting wage of $16.75 per hour plus a $3.00 shift premium and a $1.00 attendance bonus, with bonuses and full benefits available.

Qualifications

• Experience with sanitation in food processing is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety protocols including LOTO and PPE.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment and machines to ensure safe startup for production.
• Operate safely and in compliance with GMP standards.
• Document work performed for quality records as required.
• Assist with cross-training and support teammates as needed.
• Prepare chemicals for foaming process and apply cleaning agents correctly.
• Participate in overtime and weekend shifts when required.
