Job summary

Mom's Meals, a leading national provider of refrigerated home-delivered meals, is seeking a 3rd Shift Quality Assurance Technician in North Jackson, OH. You will support food safety and GMP compliance in our prep kitchen and blast chill environments.

Responsibilities include CCP checks, documentation, inspections, sampling, thermometer verification, and adherence to GMP practices. Requires HACCP knowledge, attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of food safety concepts (HACCP, allergens, sanitation, GMPs).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in records and processes.
• Clear, proactive communication with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced food-prep environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CCP checks including cooking and cooling temperatures.
• Accurately complete required documentation and CCP records.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections and environmental/food-contact sampling.
• Verify thermometer accuracy and perform dish inspections for cleanliness.
• Adhere to GMP inspections and conduct chemical titrations as directed.
• Exercise authority to stop kitchen operations if a safety concern arises.
