Mom’s Meals is seeking detail-oriented individuals for a Quality Assurance Technician role in our prep kitchen and blast chill environments. You will support food safety and GMP compliance while ensuring accuracy in CCP records and documentation.

Candidates must be located in North Jackson, OH or the surrounding area and pass background checks. This role requires the ability to work in varied temperatures, in a fast-paced setting, and demonstrates strong communication and a commitment to food

Qualifications

• 1 year of previous food quality related experience.
• Must be located in North Jackson, OH or surrounding area.
• Able to work in variable temperatures and environments.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check where permitted by law.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, allergens and GMPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform CCP checks that include cooking and cooling product temperatures.
• Accurately complete all required documentation including CCP records.
• Handle pre-operational inspections.
• Perform environmental and food contact surface sampling.
• Confirm accuracy checks on thermometers.
• Perform dish inspections for cleanliness.
• Follow strict GMP inspections.
• Perform chemical titrations.
• Have authority to stop the kitchen if the process risks food safety.
• Demonstrate effective food safety knowledge and practices.

Mom’s Meals, a leading national provider of refrigerated home-delivered meals, is looking for experienced, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Quality Assurance Technician. The Quality Assurance team supports food safety and GMP regulations within our prep kitchen and blast chill environments. Quality Assurance Technicians are expected to hold themselves to a high level of quality, accuracy, and food safety guidelines.

• Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
